Sorry 'bout that Gregor, it's a Kohler K582 from a 1978 D-200.

 SMOKED a bearing....

We are in a good place right now with my wife wanting to help me mow. With the C-160 powering a 48" mower and a C-145 auto powering a 42", it is awesome to watch that acre of grass melt away.  Then suddenly, the bearing on the end of the drive pulley on my tractor started smoking , and it was over in a few seconds. The paint just peeled off.

My wife just kept on with it with the 42" deck from Sylvan Lake, and I swapped out the drive pulley with one that he threw in with the decks I bought a month ago. I still was able to help her finish the job

Its really nice to have a herd sometimes as a source of spare parts, so now it might be time to find and buy that little assembly or bearing  [maybe two] that is part of the driven pulley assembly.

The NOS ,or should I say OOS hauler kit is in service. You don't know-how much you can miss a pickup truck till yours is down.
