What have you done to your Wheel Horse today?

Burnerman - thanks for the belt information.  It cross checks with belt recommendations in the manuals section of the forum.

Planning on going belt shopping tomorrow.  Hopefully, I'll be mowing with the RD deck this weekend.

Finally get delivery of our new pontoon today - was a week and a half late!:bitch:Pretty good rain while we were launching it into the lake.  Stopped raining later in the day and my wife and I took a cruse around the lake.  Going to be an enjoyable boat.  Need to lower the dock some and come up with some fenders for it though.

Oh - anybody else get logged out of the forum when they go into the manuals section?

I moved a couple mower horses to their winter pasture.

Organized the herd to make room for Mikes new boat.

The snow mover came back home for winter duty.   The 854 and 877 are waiting for the 2010 Big Show.

Since I had to remove so much sheet metal from the GT-14 to remove and repair the transmission I decided to spray some IH RED and make it look more presentable.

Is there a build thread going?

Not an actual "Build Thread"     almost qualified as a "Bumps ans Bruises".

Installed new fuel line, fuel filter and a new air filter. Also installed the new solid engine mounts from Zach Kerber. What a difference!! There’s actually less vibes now. I had 2 bad rubber isolators and the engine shook all over. Not anymore!

i also made a stack from a cheap TSC muffler but it’s way to loud for yard work. My stocker rotted out and was melting my air filter. I may try one of jimkemps when he gets a few more made. I wish I could really get it quiet.

Nice looking stack. I had one like that a few years ago-as you found mine was too loud also. Low tree branches were the real issue. I want to try one of Jim kemps stacks it looks short enough tree branches won't be such a hazard

Nice job on that one!

If you both are looking for "QUIET"  then a cub muffler turned to face up is the least noisy I've found.

I have one of @jimkemp's mufflers on the Cinnamon Horse. The quality is Absolute Top Shelf!

I have a cub muffler on the Patriot horse. It does have a bit deeper tone.

Lol. I got a handful of dead pine needles down my back after driving under the pine. 😁 I’m going to keep messing with this one. I’m going to try and add a baffle to it but will prolly end up with one of @jimkemp‘s.

One of those harbor freight vibrating saws you'd use to cut trim boards. It cut like a hot knife through butter. It took me about 45 minutes to do both tires.

Went to the local hardware store yesterday and obtained the 1/2x98 belt for the RD deck.  Also stopped by the NAPA store and picked up a new fuel filter and some fuel line.  The fuel leak is now gone and the RD desk is under the tractor.  Mowed the lawn with the new to me deck today as well.  It did a nice job.  I think I'll treat myself to a new set of blades next spring, as some of the taller patches of crabgrass did not cut so well.  We will see how well it does in combination with the lawn sweeper when the leaves start coming down.

There are some fatigue cracks in the deck around the rear mounting points, and the baffles around the blades are rusty so there is some welding and paint work to be done on the deck during the off season.  Still have not found a model number or serial number on the RD deck.

Tuneup

Disassembled the 76 C-120 PTO so the disintegrated outer bearing could be replaced. Swapped the 42 RD to Henrietta, the restored 80 C-125 and proceeded to mow the dirt and crab grass on the lot. She doesn't mind getting dirty but it pains me. Ran flawlessly and parts are on order.

Those solid mounts are the bomb. I'm tempted but kinda like that low RPM vibration point that shakes the 80 to oblivion.  Reminds me of an old Chevelle. Fun days.

Is this 1962 deck a 32" or 36"?
