Planning on going belt shopping tomorrow. Hopefully, I'll be mowing with the RD deck this weekend. Finally get delivery of our new pontoon today - was a week and a half late!Pretty good rain while we were launching it into the lake. Stopped raining later in the day and my wife and I took a cruse around the lake. Going to be an enjoyable boat. Need to lower the dock some and come up with some fenders for it though. Burnerman 758 #3034 Posted September 7, 2019 Installed new fuel line, fuel filter and a new air filter. Also installed the new solid engine mounts from Zach Kerber. What a difference!! There’s actually less vibes now. I had 2 bad rubber isolators and the engine shook all over. Not anymore! i also made a stack from a cheap TSC muffler but it’s way to loud for yard work. My stocker rotted out and was melting my air filter. I may try one of jimkemps when he gets a few more made. We got rid of a bunch of the nasty apples and used the 1054 to haul the cleanup trailer... Works great and looks vintage doing it. We will call this tractor...”Rusty”! 8ntruck 6,373 #3043 Posted September 9, 2019 Went to the local hardware store yesterday and obtained the 1/2x98 belt for the RD deck. Also stopped by the NAPA store and picked up a new fuel filter and some fuel line. The fuel leak is now gone and the RD desk is under the tractor. Mowed the lawn with the new to me deck today as well. It did a nice job. I think I'll treat myself to a new set of blades next spring, as some of the taller patches of crabgrass did not cut so well. We will see how well it does in combination with the lawn sweeper when the leaves start coming down. There are some fatigue cracks in the deck around the rear mounting points, and the baffles around the blades are rusty so there is some welding and paint work to be done on the deck during the off season. Tuneup 1,416 #3044 Posted September 9, 2019 Disassembled the 76 C-120 PTO so the disintegrated outer bearing could be replaced. Swapped the 42 RD to Henrietta, the restored 80 C-125 and proceeded to mow the dirt and crab grass on the lot. She doesn't mind getting dirty but it pains me. Ran flawlessly and parts are on order. Those solid mounts are the bomb. I'm tempted but kinda like that low RPM vibration point that shakes the 80 to oblivion. Reminds me of an old Chevelle.
