Yes there was a pick up version.

Curiously enough this one was made in the same year as my little Red Fred.

Just to give some idea how small these things were I found a photo with one of your American chaps for scale.1965-morris-mini-minor-jay-lenos-garage.jpg.67ebf7814bba40f1b6656eb7ef6a70a4.jpg

That is your Jay Leno?  Bit of a vehicle enthusiast I'm told.

The current mini is a BMW and not mini at all, its huge compared with the original.

Sorry to correct,

...and has nothing to do with the Original, except BMW had tried to copy the optics...😂

The original Mini was a great Car without any senseless electronic gadgets in it.

It was driving pure, like a GoCart..

friend on mine had one with the 75HP Engine, an extreme small but funny car in his Area.

Both you and Mick are correct. To call the BMW a mini is sacrilege.

For those of you who want their Mini, just a little bit more mini, cut the back off it and reweld...

Its called a mini ha ha and its a blast.

So short that if you gun it in reverse it pulls a front wheel wheelie!

Spark plug leads were in a bad place. Transverse engine with the leads etc at the front and no radiator to hid behind. Rad' was on the RH side looking at the engine.

@cschannuth   Confirmed this morning when that F-250 showed up. You are correct it has the 351 in it , original motor with 118000 miles on it . I take the blame and it must have been the Tinnitus in my left ear.   :handgestures-thumbup:

Went with a mate of mine to look at one of these today. Not this one.

It needs quite a bit/lot of work. Ex army 1977 Land Rover 101 1tonne. Rover V8 engine. Runs and is drivable
