Not really what I would consider to be a classic, though it is 29 years old. Tasha and I drug home this little 1992 F150 4x4 this afternoon. Transmission is out and the interior needs to be put back together but after that it should make her a good truck to drive back and forth to work every day so I can finally get rid of that junk 2000 Silverado she’s been driving. 6658D993-FB25-460A-8368-7ED5C49E04D8.jpeg.53ce589b78dd19d45e21acf09a3948ad.jpeg

And I suppose some could consider my old 94 F350 a vintage truck as well. For being 27 yrs old and just shy of 200k miles on her, she still never fails to put in a days work when I need her to. Tipped the scales at just under 16k a couple weeks ago when I brought home the 49 A

This combo caught my interest on my way home tonight. It intrigued me so much that I had to stop & take a picture of it. One sweet example of a mid 60's Chevy van and the painted to match Scamp camper is certainly icing on the cake.

I think it's a '65

My guess would be the 194 c.i. straight six.

I believe there was also a 4 cylinder available IIRC but that might have been earlier.  There was also a 230 c.i. option.

I had a '66 for a while, back in the day.  3 speed on the column.

That's a good question @Horse Newbie, there was not much he forgot if you look around there are things hanging everywhere. Super nice display. Like watching Rat Patrol on TV when I was a kid.

You can still watch the Rat Patrol if you get the Heroes and Icons channel ;)

I seen a episode of Pawn Stars where they went and looked at a half-track.

It had fully functional twin 50 cals...

The man selling said you can have them, but they are highly regulated and you have to jump through many hoops.

Rick said too much trouble...

Maine's an open carry, lightly regulated state.

It's possible that's a live one.

As soon as I had it in my hands, I knew they weren’t giving me the biggest hint to take up stringed instrument lessons because of the sheer weight

Are you seriously telling us it NEVER crossed your mind it could have been a cast iron ukulele?

That's a fantastic gift Josh!!

Need more pics of the Burb @Pullstart   when you get time. Those years are some of the best ever built by GM, one of my favorite body styles. Wanna trade for an 86   K-20  ?  :hide:
