V drive pulley for 13 hp Predator?

Recommended Posts

giddyap

I've been applying pressure for a couple days now. PB Blaster, chisel and hammer back side, hammer front side. If I can get just a little movement then I can work it back and forth, but nothing. Any more pressure and the hub could break. Another day or two, I'll cut the axle, secure them in a vise, I'll get them apart.

At the Big Show, Are parts sales open to all brand names, or only Wheel Horse parts?

You can sell Wheel Horse parts and parts that will fit a Wheel Horse. Engines, wheels, tires etc can fit even though from a different brand.

No automatic alt text available.

You're asking a senior citizen the impossible. I use Google Chrome but I think my pictures are on Microsoft Edge. Our new computer has Microsoft 10.  I posted another video but it appears to be on the same format and I'm undecided about using youtube

Might just have to come see it in person some day!  Are you heading to the big show again in 2019?  I am pretty sure I saw your tractor (or maybe just pictures), but didn’t cross paths with you.

I'll be at the Lorain County Fairgrounds this Sunday morning 9/16 with my tractor outside building 23. Well worth your consideration because my trading card awaits you. What a great incentive to make a 3-hour drive.

And unfortunately I didn’t get a pack of trading cards, my tractor was not finished for pictures and I was too ignorant to get creative with another picture to hand in :(  I did however grab one of @Vinylguy‘s member banners to hang in the shop!

A new chapter is about to start with my first born and my only successful build. Yeah, my rear engine Wheelie Horse is kaput but on the positive side, my back is better. Yesterday I brought home a sled front end and stripped it and thought I just had to show how cool it will be - IF I can make it happen. The third picture seems to be too easy and I haven't decided if I should include the shocks. If so I will have to do some serious hacking to the original front end and rethink everything.

I resolved a clearance problem with a pair of caster yokes from Surplus Center. I included them in my order a few months ago for no reason other than they were cheap and yeah leaf spring hangers would be better. My first build I lined the 3/4 inch pipe with a thin wall lawn tool handle. The T has brass thingabobs so the axle has a snug fit. The U clamp secures a trimmed T to assure the short Cub Cadet axle comes all the way thru. This change makes her stance more on the level side but I no longer fear of being launched if a low clearance axle snags something. I'll evaluate the need for shocks after the first ride

Unrelated news / on Dec 21 it will be 50 years when an earth species escapes the planet.

Often I get new ideas when I make a middle of the night visit to the garage. Last night I'm looking at the saddles I did not include in the new set-up for more ground clearance. In the back of my mind I have been trying to figure out how to move the tractor with the skis on over dry payment. Bingo! I will just put the saddles under the spring and add wheels.

I’m building a lowered 300 series wheelhorse. So far it’s a combination of 3 scrap tractors.
the frame, trans and tins are from a GT2500 anniversary special given to me by a neighbor with a trashed Briggs. The Kohler M12 is from a junkyard 312 that was roached. The parts tractor I’m using for the build was another older 312. I’ve got the k301 in the garage. The trans was toast. Both axles wallowed out keyways and 1 axle actually broken.
Anyway! I needed a project and a toy to putt around the neighborhood. I couldn’t find any other posts on how to do the whole thing. I’m trying to keep it cheap using stuff I have on hand and looking as “stock but cooler” as possible. So here we go.
I’ll update this as I go along.

A while ago I picked up a Canadiana 5hp heavy duty tiller. It features forward and reverse control and you could buy add on implements for it.

My example unfortunately suffered a catastrofic engine faillure a.k.a. 'window' in the block. Hence it was cheap so I picked it up. The idea I had for it was to mount it on the rear of my 'Murray to IH 1568' build. However since I bought a Wheel Horse i've been thinking about mounting it on the front of that tractor.
      This is what i'm thinking..
