Sarge 3,462 #5 Posted September 4, 2017 We fought pretty hard to get this day - never forget those before us that died trying to get the rights we have now - and never let the powers that be erode those rights . The Working Class is under serious attack from big business that wants us to earn 3rd world wages and further erode the Middle Class - pay attention to their agenda and fight back because this stuff affects all of us one way or another . oldlineman 1,450 #6 Posted September 5, 2017 (edited) I being a 41 year retired Journeyman Lineman, member of L U # 126 IBEW, Norristown Pa. I second what Sarge just said. I would not have the retired life I have without my 41 years working UNION and all of the former IBEW and all UNION members that have gone on before! "Manic-Mechanic" 1,192 #8 Posted September 5, 2017 I never worked under a Union, but I did do Electrical for over 30 yrs, from Residential, Commercial to Trouble-shooting and Electronics from one company to another. My last job was as Maintenance Lead for Quality Associates Warehouse, PLC Drives, etc. until forced retirement 2yrs ago! Ditto on Big Business, everything is "throw away".......
