If there is a Ford forum that is half as helpful as Red Square you should have no troubles, good luck.

I'd love to have the ford tiller!  My grandfather owned a ford dealership when I was little and I loved hanging out there.  As for the Deere, we'll, I'd take that one too.  I've got a Deere 750 that I use almost daily on our farm.  Sorry, Richard, but I still love my horses best!

Truth be known, my father bought a Deere, I still loved him.

Yup, my Dad and uncle were both in shock that I bought a Deere.  They didn't disown me though!

I have a WheelHorse C-175-8 with Rototiller attachment. Machine is in great mechanical shape, just needs paint.  Engine has been replaced with an identical Kohler KT-17 Series 1.  New Carb has been installed.  Battery, solenoid and cables have been replaced, starts great.  Installed new Tires and Tie Rods.  Installed radial bearings in spindles, so it steers beautifully.  Fuel line has been changed, as well as headlights.  Bew mule drive and belt fot tiller and functions as designed.  I'm sure there is other items that have been done.  Very reliable machine. $800/BRO
Selling all my WheelHorse items and moving South.  Have other tractors ad parts if interested.

Anybody know where I can find info on this tiller? Manuals, parts list, etc.
Has a 5 hp briggs on it but not sure if its the original motor that came on it.
      Thanks!

About a year ago scanning my local craigslist, I found a newer Toro / Wheel horse 36" roto tiller for $50. Mounted up to my 74, C-160 after I had to trim off a bit of the rear axle mount locking bracket (it's length was bumping into idler pulley). Now I needed the mid mount belt setup, I have a well equipped shop at home so all I needed was some measurements. Built my drive setup close to member "Lost Pup" and his post here

The mostly finished bracket, waiting for  141 x 1/2" belt to arrive, bought off greed-bay. Will tack the set-screw shaft locks in place after belt fitted.

Pic from underside, spring is probably from an old bed mattress. It was just in my junk pile and looks close to being correct size.

Side pic of my over powered C-160

Tiller mounting shot, the electric lift is getting weak, has to work pretty hard to lift roto tiller. Plans are to remove and sell it off then replace with my own linear actuator setup.
