WHX??

Wonder what he uses to pull it up and down  I would have a horse with duals on one side and no tire on the rim wrap the rope around the rim and jack up the tractor ...forward up/reverse down???

Now that's clever!

Jim, Someday I'll have to tell you about the time I did the rope wrap thing to drive a well. It almost ended in disaster and not because it was a bad idea, it was pilot error.

Funny you should mention that Bob....  I did the same thing with the belt PTO on an old Farmall! Worked good, I think Cindy took old school pictures will have to dig them out!

Necessity is the mother of invention.

When I saw your set up I thought of something

like this that would let you to let slip it down,

then assist in pulling back up.

One Mississippi , Two Mississippi ...

Actually, these would make great robot chassis. :)

From the land of Yazoo walk behind mowers. I still have mine after 28 years. 1 inch diameter saplings are a breeze with the old Yazoo.

This one from Harper isn't too shabby; Toro made one like it but I couldn't find a picture of it.

Necessity is the mother of invention.

This is the American way!

Reminds me of the story..........

An Air Force General at a joint meeting

of Congress holds up a brick.

Gentlemen, he said, you give me

enough money we can make this fly.
