What is this?

 I'm sure this has nothing to do with a Wheelhorse or any attachment but I figured with all of the knowledge on this site somebody will have seen one of these before. I found this in the attic of a building we were cleaning out and nobody seemed to know what it was. Any ideas?

I think it's used to hold an older sink to the wall.

That makes sense. I have a slop sink that mounts to a similar, but much less substantial, style wall bracket. Thanks and welcome to the forum!

Looks like it screws into wood and is meant to hold a heavy load. Comes in sizes measured between the supports. But holds what?

 Some of the members above indicated that it was used to hold up old-style sinks.

 Hvac tech. I have seen them in older homes. mostly just laying around in the utility room.
