bell 11 #6 Posted January 29, 2009 Here's my "helpers"... Sorry for the blurry pic. (it's hard to get them to keep still for a pic ) Sam dog is on the right.. he is a terrier mix. BEST dog I've ever had. Pee-Wee is on the left.. he is a full blooded Cocker Spaniel. He gets a bit over-excited and has a "sprinkling" problem when he gets excited and he LOVES to chew things up and make a mess ALL OVER the house... but he is getting a little bit better after 6 months.
Duff 206 #7 Posted January 30, 2009 Well, here are my two "kids". Helpers? Hmmmmm....that's open for debate. The Golden is named Chopin, and he's the one that if it has a motor and it's running he has to have his nose in it. Makes mowing a challenge sometimes! The Black Lab/Shepherd cross is Gracie, and she's the best darned guard dog you could ever ask for. They're inseparable, and a pair of love muffins as long as they are confident their "parents" are safe and happy. I have to be away working some nights, but I have no concern for my wife's safety (or that of my Horses, for any rustlers out there!). My wife and I couldn't have kids of the two-legged variety, so we think God has taken pretty good care of us with these! Cheers! Duff

Brrly1 1,146 #12 Posted January 30, 2009 Well, Heres my helper. He helps me any time he can make the break, the ol lady gets all kinds of nervous when I go plowin'. She gets upset thinking he might dart out in front of a car. I tell her not to worry he's a smart dog and he stays close to where I am at, for the most part. Jack the Dog! My Lil' Furball!
