HamptonT 33 #1 Posted April 5, 2017 When I engage the PTO clutch on my 314-8, it gives off a loud squeal. Then it runs fine until it really bogs down in thick leaves and will squeal some more. time to replace the clutch or just tighten the engagement lever? thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Sparky-(Admin) 19,538 #2 Posted April 5, 2017 Time to tighten the tension on the pto lever....but before you do that I would pull the clutch bell and check it and the clutch face for scoring, then give the inside a smear of hi speed bearing grease and re-assemble.
