Kohler K series flywheel identification

Can someone set me straight on the flywheels for the K series 10.12 & 14 HP engines. I have a collection of flywheels from these engines and need to know how to tell which flwheel goes to which engine. Are the diameters different? Are the weights different? Are there numbers cast in the flywheel for ID. Kohler does not give any info in their service manual listing flywheel sizes.

Thanks Brian for this info. I was under the impression the flywheel was part of the balance system for the crank and piston. Accordingly this is not the case. Maybe you can tell me if a 14 hp Kohler crank can be used in a 12 hp block. I have all the parts from different HP kohlers and need to assemble a complete engine (unfortunatly I don't have a 12 HP crank).  Thanks again.

A 14 HP crank shaft is heaver then a 12 HP. The 12 HP as the bottom machined off flat. The 14 HP is round on the bottom. It will be out of balance with the 14.
