Very nice. Maybe a proper muffler, new decals, clean the wheels and use it. I don't think I could park it long enough to restore.lol

953 nut

:text-coolphotos:   I think I would pull the tins off the motor and distress them a bit in the blast cabinet so they match the patina of the :wh:.

It's a cute little bugger isn't it. Doesn't look rough and beat up.

Nice! It certainly has ALL the goodies with it

Normally I'm on the side of leaving it original but there is some over spray on it already.

With that low of a serial #  it should have the round 3 hole rear hubs too but the Ponds are notorious for mixing it up a bit.

That looks like the leather shift boot I made as a gift for Jeff when he hosted the first ever RedSquare meet & greet back in ??? 09???. BUT... it's a real boot, made from a leather work boot!

What do you all think?

What's not to like except the lack of sense Fireman's on Fireman's part for letting it go?!?!? Keep us posted on the resto but don't' mess with that old school wood starter handle! :handgestures-thumbupright:

I'll be sure to keep everyone posted. And I'm having trouble with the govener. I tap the throttle The slightest bit and the motor races. Is this set up right?

Your throttle cable is hooked up incorrectly to the gov-wheel

Google K91 manual and it will provide you with the correct throttle cable hook up diagram

Thanks everyone. This info will help for sure. Today I was messing with it and set it very incorrectly and started the motor and it was running VERY high, I quickly shut it off. Would what happened ruin the motor In any way?
