This Wheelhorse just came up on my local craigs list and I cannot make out the numbers on the picture.  I contacted the owner and was told he does not know what model it is.   His story is he had it running about a year ago the pit it in the shed where it sits.   He got it from an older man as payment for some work.

First number looks to be a 6, middle number a 0, last is a 6. I would say it is a 606. Six horse Tecumseh engine, pull start, 1966

The tractor you are looking at is a short frame and the C 141 is a long frame so the snow plow would need to be modified to fit.

I'm excited. But cautiously optomistic, wouldn't be the first time a sale was agreed upon,  just to have it sold to someone else prior to pick up.

I see Terry M did a restoration on a 606, I'll be reading that thread thoroughly.   Hope to at least push some snow this winter.   My budget isn't great,  and my wife isn't thrilled,  but I'm gitty as can be!

Lots of good advice here on Wheel Horse tractors. Any advice given here to help make it OK with the misses should be used with caution though.:D

I do not,  but I may have to stop out.   It's not too bad of a drive anyway.

Oohh, forgot that I'm going with my brother and father in law to the milwaukee brewer games that weekend.   Maybe I can take Friday off work.

It's a nice show with a huge vendor area. If you make it out look for a :wh: Suburban with wide white wall tires. That will be me stop by & say hi.

Check the ID tag under the dash. It will be T_MN.
