In addition to lots of photos, keep the sub assemblies separated and all the hardware associated with the subs in baggies.  It used to be that the manuals had all the hardware listed by size/description.  Now, I think they are all toro P/N's.  However, I happen to have the IPL manual for the C141 so if you want a copy of the original circa 1978-79, pm me.

Yes, pictures ad documenting where the nuts and bolts came from. It will make it much easier at re-assembly time.

Now THAT my friends is how you do it! Attention to detail.....Cecil once said to me about my C-121 Auto "It didn't look this nice when it left the factory" It was then I knew my effort had paid off. So keep up the good work and posting pics. Thx

Well here is today's Pics. I am a little trouble with the fuel line routing and how the wires are ran according to the manufacturer. there is not much to go by in the on line manuals that I have looked at. If and one has a good pic of fuel line routing it would be much appreciated.

 I took a lot of photos but I am trying to take it back to original and I was photographing what other owners have done which was a modification at best and that's the information I'm looking for is what did the original manufacture do when assembling my tractor

 I am having fun with this project I think powder coating was the way to go it was a little more expensive but it's sure is good dropping it off to have someone else put the color on

Beautiful and a super hard finish. You might find that some things you have retained aren't shiny enough and that's the start of a hard road. That ignition key isn't up to the standards of the rest of the work for instance - OK - I got you started there B)

Hi All

I made some progress this weekend. I rewired the head lights to assure that they would function correctly I installed a ground wire to the hood bolt. I also cleaned up the engine to ready it for paint.

Hi All

Not much progress this week :angry-nono: the 5 steps forward and 4 steps back has happen to me. I was assembling the tractor and I had this plate I was sure was an engine shroud part, I was wrong.:-( It is a dust cover under the shifting levers on top of the frame rails. It took awhile to install it. Also I live in Northern Nevada , A garden tractor free zone in America. I had to order the main drive belt, front axle bearings and fillister screws also carriage bolts, Where I grew up these things where common and had to kick them out of the way just to get into the parts house.Not in the Reno area. I will continue my mission to restore the most expensive C-121 ever!! just had some minor set backs.
