Here is a coffee cup from the dealer I get parts from all the time.

It's in South Leeds near Arlington Wisconsin.

Jeff is the owner and he is quite knowledgeable about the older Wheelhorses.

Its been in business a long time.

I scored what the seller had claimed was an original coffee cup from the Wheel Horse factory in South Bend about 10yrs ago off the popular auction site - finally dropped it once too many times last winter and now it's badly cracked and leaks - would love to find another one . Only markings on it is USA on the bottom , nothing else so no real idea of who made it and when....very heavy weight and well made .

If anyone knows anything about these - I'd love to hear about it and am actively looking for another one to replace the original . I've had one made but the red is badly washed out .

Picked up a project the other day that had a sticker on it for "Dombrowski's Sales and Service, Florida, NY. They are still in business as a Toro dealer.   http://www.dombrowskis.com/about.html The founders sold the business to their mechanic a couple of years ago and he kept the name. This project will retain it's work clothes and I will send them pictures when it is ready.

Jack Modlin had the dealership in North Vernon IN until the early 1980's. I worked with Jack after that at the Carpenter Body plant building buses. I think he would have rather kept working on red tractors than buses.

WHX??

Met him last year at the Portage show 608...really took a fancy to our round hoods....heck of a  nice guy and said he had some older parts but have yet to go see him.

Don't know if I had posted this before but this showed up on more than a couple of new to me's now. I think he was an old school dealer in the day. Might have been bought out by a another (Toro) dealer?

This deacal was on my wh tub cart when I got it. Someone sprayed over the decal and most of the wagon in white and green paint. It’s cool that the wagon was sold in Connecticut and ended up here in pa. Not sure if this dealer is already on the list but I figured I would post theicture any way just in case. I had to take the decal of the wagon because I blasted it and am going to give it a fresh coat of paint. I looked up the dealer and surprisingly they are still in business but now they sell Honda John Deere and Stihl.

My Grandfather and Great Grandfather used to operate Johnson Service and Repair in Litchfield Ohio, unsure of the exact dates of operation, it has since closed.

After my Grandfather, Dad and Uncle left, my Great Grandfather continued operating till just before his death in the late 80s early 90s.

My understanding they were also a Wheelhorse Dealer as well. My Dad, Uncle, and Grandfather were excited when I found a '79 C-81, and got it running with the help of a local repair shop that a friend of mine works for, Maibach's Saw Shop in Creston Ohio.

It appears South Carolina has been left off!  I discovered this ad in the paperwork that came with the tractor my Dsd bought in 1971.  Sorry for the poor pictures...

In 1958 Rasor-West was formed with the distribution franchise of Wheel Horse Tractors in Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Kansas. They continued to grow and in 1960 added Snapper distributor lines of equipment.

I own a 1958  RJ  with No Date #'s on the three piece transmission that was bought new at this dealership in 1958.

I purchased from the neighbor of the original owner who had it for 55 years with several original attachments.

That's really cool, glad to see there was one here in town (Easley) but I can't find anything about them.  Quite a few upstate dealers

Mirage276, I remember going with my Dad to look at the Wheel Horse tractors in 1971, but cannot remember exactly where we went.  We lived in Anderson at the time, and I remember driving between  a half hour to an hour to the dealer.  I believe it was either Easley or Fountain Inn.  I am leaning toward the tractor coming from Fountain Inn, but my memory is fuzzy.  Real fuzzy!

There is a fellow that I have went to several times in Plainfield, Ohio. His shop is in the rear of the Post Office. He had a huge selection of oem parts. He also was involved in building pulling wheelhorse. Not sure if he is still there or not. Very knowledgeable.
