sna4013ke@yahoo.com 0 #27 Posted August 25, 2018 I have a question...my 2013, or 14 wheelhorse tractor rear wheels..they are corroded with rust, and I can't get either side off..i sprayed & sprayed with WD, and other penetrating oil,and no luck.. I beat the hell on the back side off the wheel, and no luck.. I was wondering, will heat a little bit of heat hurt anything? I was going to put tubes in..thanks.. dcrage 621 #28 Posted August 25, 2018 Careful hitting on your wheels. Most of the WH rear axle assemblies discussed on here are held in the “transmission” with clips that will come off with hammering. Then the rearend must be opened to repair.

The preferred method is to back off on all of the lug bolts about a full turn and then drive it around in figure eights to allow them to free themselves.
