SALTYWRIGHT

I HAVE BEEN WORKING AND PLAYING WITH WHEEL HORSES FOR 59 YEARS AND I THINK IT HAS COME TO AN END. LAST THURSDAY I FELL AND BROKE MY NECK IN TWO PLACES AND WAS BLEEDING FROM MY BRAIN., ALSO 7 STITCHES ON MY FORE HEAD. THEY SAY I CAN NOT DRIVE.  I WANT TO THANK ALL MY WHEEL FRIENDS FOR THE MANY GOOD TIMES. IT HAS BEEN FUN AT MANY OF THE MEETS. THANK YOU EVERY ONE.    RUSS.

Get well Russ and don't forget, there are plenty of friends here who could help you out and at least assist you in getting to shows and still participate in this great hobby.

Russ, please don't give up! God knows us younger guys still need the knowledge of 'more experienced in life' guys like yourself. I pray you recover well enough to be able to continue to enjoy and share your knowledge with the tractors and life in general.

Many prayers for the best of healing for you Russ. It saddens me to hear this and to see you have to stop cold turkey., as I know this is not normally your style. You have done nothing but amaze me with your talents. I wish I had 1/2 your energy!! I do wish you well my friend. I have enjoyed all of our encounters.

Russ, I am so sorry to hear this. I have a great deal of respect and admiration for you and how active you are attending just about every event on the East Coast. I hope and pray for a speedy recovery for you, and I'm sure I speak for most here if we can help in any way just ask, as many of us live right around the corner from you. Take care of yourself Russ.

Sorry to hear this Russ. Prayers just sent your way. I hope you can recover and be able to work on your tractors but if you can't work on them maybe still ride and enjoy them. You can still be an active member hear cause it just wouldn't be the same without your wisdom. I have learned a great deal from you and I really appreciate all your help. Take care and keep us posted on your progress.

Also sorry to hear about this, and thank you for letting use know,

another good reason for each us to be a lot more careful all-the-time.

At 72, I well know we have to carefully modify what and how we do things,

so we can keep doing what we want to, in a safer and maybe slower way.

Take care, keep thinking and planning ahead and remember that it is you

who is in control of your recovery process . . . .   Glen
