Tombstone Weight value

Recommended Posts

Ok, what's the problem here?? I've seen many of those weights sell for over five hundred dollars. Yes it was on flea-bay. I do plan on doing some more weights. I'm sure there are some of you New to this hobby as I've been doing now for about 12 years maybe 13, and so as the story goes I've watched e-bay a lot, so yes I've seen expensive an then Not so expensive. It doesn't really matter if it is something you want or need to finish your project you'll either buy or you won't. The original weights are expensive Handle or No handle!!

I'll throw up a couple different pictures. I have a set of patterns at aluminum factory plus a set at the cast factory.  Handle or No handle.  Aluminum is more less for show no weight factor 22lbs where the cast weigh in at 54lbs.

"I was tearing down our old garage and found this old Wheel Horse Tractor Weight. I was able to get a model number by searching on eBay. This weight is scratched and scuffed with rust. I am going to remove the bolt for easier shipping."

Weight is probably worth more than the garage he was tearing down.  lol

Look at the cool little tractor one member just got for 700, with attachments. Do you want that? Or a chunk of steel. Just sayin.....
that price is crazy. I guess thats why i cant part with the greenbacks for a snowcab.

Value is an interesting thing. I'm watching full running tractors week after week with prices less than this weight on craigslist that don't sell...

We are an odd species, but we create our own inflation when value is related to need, desire or both. Price goes up as your need and desire go up...

So I was perusing a 1976 price list I received with my recent B100 and noticed that in 1976, the "GT14 Frame Weight" is listed as a 34 dollar option.

i would like to be added to the list of those who want a couple reproductions if anyone on forum decides to do a production run.

i would also like to see a picture of anyone has one of them mounted to a GT14.

My ideas always show up out of left field.......While reading this thread.....I had a thought,,,,,A man,,maybe some one here,,,,,Could do this Tomb Stone in CAD,,,,On a CNC machine,,,,and do it in wood.....with Wheel Horse on the front and make it a 3rd choice,,,,stain it or paint it RED,,,,,,,I would buy one,,,,,,

and I would buy a tomb stone bracket,,,,,,,,,,,,,You can buy diamonds as the real deal,,,Moizinite,,,and glass,,,,,,,people know it and pay for sparkle,,,,

We have 50 year old tractors,,,,,I;d want some sparkle

@857 horseHoward have you been sniffing glue or smoking wacky weed again. Sometimes you are out in left field . :ROTF: I think you Dr. has you on too many medications or you have too much energy.

How you get rid of the spoiler " what ever that is " . Old man and computer stuff don't mix.
