Dennys502 244 #1 Posted July 3, 2015 The Solex carb on my D250 started leaking gas past the needle valve a couple of days ago. I decided to make an adapter and put a carb off a Kohler 22hp instead of fixing the solex at this time. I had a carb already which is why I decided on that carb. I will probably order a kit for the solex and rebuild it just in case I ever want to restore it to origional. This is the Adapter I made today.

Jolopicus 0 #4 Posted September 14, 2016 Any chance you could post the measurements for that bad boy? throat size, bolt distance/size... Also where did you get that rebuild kit from? I know there is a ton of info on RS, but I'm struggling to find specifics... Thx in advanced!
Dennys502 244 #5 Posted September 15, 2016 This is the kit for my carburetor. I'm not sure if yours is the same. I have this modeled up in Autocad - I will get some dimensions for you. http://www.ebay.com/itm/190298742864?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

I wish i had a good setup, I've gotta go down to the Minnesota Transportation Museum, a place I'm a member of, to do any real milling. That or just 3d print the thing in metal... It's getting pretty cheap these days.
