you can get them new through Toro. there are cheaper alternatives but not the same as oem.....

part number 8830 ($1.00 ea) is one style, they are used for the majority of the wiring.....

I haven't seen one like that, can we get a pic of it where it actually goes.  It almost looks like it goes over a shaft.

The one I showed is also under all the older tractors on the frame for the light wire.

first of all, I'm not sure what style metal clip that we want here, there are a couple different styles and the style needs to be determined first.....

sometimes I've seen the ones like you pictured on the frames Geno (i say like, but they aren't exactly the same as what you pictured), but i don't think that is correct. some people put the sheet metal one on the frame using the wider side, but the tangs or little teeth are supposed to grip the material the clip is on and the tangs are on the narrow side for the thin sheet metal. if you use the sheet metal one on the frames the wire ends up in the thin side and is damaged by the teeth if ever you pull out the wire.....

the one i pictured is typical for the frame on the 70s tractors and this one below is for the sheet metal. (hood grill for the light wiring, top of blower tin for the coil +) the one below was also used on the seat pans for the 3,4,500 series tractors.......

i believe the part number for the large one is 8519 (used on the frame)

i believe the part number for the small one is 3023. (used on the sheet metal)

here is where the frame one is used. there are two on the frame, the second one is up the front of the frame, just forward of the engine, it is used upside down and the wire is underneath the frame.

The ones I pictured above are actually trailer wire clips for 1/8" steel.  I use them around here for lots of tractor and trailer applications. If the metal is thinner I bend the tooth end in a little.  I suggested them cause they are $3.55 for 25 (14 cents each) and you can afford to go crazy with them.  :)

Martin both the frame clip and sheet metal clips are exactly what I'm looking for. Both part numbers are showing discontinued.
