TT-(Moderator) 1,127 #7 Posted December 31, 2013 84113 (8-4113) is the model number of the factory kit. Click for IPL ---> LINK The one you have pictured above looks like parts of the old HY-6 kit for the late 60's tractors.
chevyaddict83 39 #8 Posted December 31, 2013 I hope not. Seller said it was off of a c-series Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
TT-(Moderator) 1,127 #9 Posted December 31, 2013 An old discussion: I think that valve was last used in '73 As long as the hoses/fittings are right for your pump, it will work. Looks like you need a few more parts though.
Kelly 1,028 #10 Posted December 31, 2013 Biggest little things I don't see are the valves you will need to install in the trans to make the lift operate, then the foot rest ext. brackets, the spacers for the end of the lift cyl. but the cone valves are key to it all working. TT-(Moderator) 1,127 #14 Posted December 31, 2013 Wait. What kind of kits? Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk The kit I told you about..... 84113 contained everything required to add hydraulic lift to a tractor that didn't have it.

Kelly 1,028 #16 Posted December 31, 2013 When I get a tractor in with a good USED hyd lift on it I pull everything needed to make the swap, so mine are used kits, but a complete kit non the less.

TravelinJavelin 620 #18 Posted January 5, 2014 I'd be very interested in one too for 73 12-8spd the snowblower attachment is heavy looking to save my shoulder
TT-(Moderator) 1,127 #19 Posted January 5, 2014 I'd be very interested in one too for 73 12-8spd the snowblower attachment is heavy looking to save my shoulder Hydraulic lift is powered by the charge pump in the hydro tractors. There was an electric lift available for the gear-drive tractors, but they're not easy to find and/or expensive.
TravelinJavelin 620 #20 Posted January 5, 2014 from what I understand though there only can be used on models from 78 up through?
TT-(Moderator) 1,127 #21 Posted January 5, 2014 from what I understand though there only can be used on models from 78 up through? You have to get the correct kit for the "generation" of tractor. 8-4221 (84221) & 8-4222 (84222) were the kits for the narrow hoodstand tractors. 8-4223 (84223), 8-4224 (84224) & 8-4225 (84225) are for the wide hoodstand models

i967mustang 21 #25 Posted January 7, 2014 I just converted two Wheel horse tractors over to hydraulic lift, one was a C160 8 speed. I changed everything and made it a hydro. The second was a Charger 12 which was already a hydro but had a manual lift. I used what looks to be the same as what is pictured above, I cut the manual lift arm off the rock shaft and made a lift arm using the C160 as a pattern. It is much easier to use a hydraulic lift rock shaft if you can find one. when it was all done I still had to chase down the cone and spring for the front of the pump. tractors that had manual lift didn't have the cone in the front and the hydraulic lift will NoT work without it. These parts from what I was told by a sund strand dealer are obsolete now. So this will leave you looking for used ones.
