SCOOBY 312-h 14 #3 Posted February 7, 2013 what is the extra generator for? or is it in place of the other one
JUSS10 250 #4 Posted February 7, 2013 Scooby, i think you are talking about the HY-2 unit. That's not another generator beneath the steering wheel, that's the hydraulic pump. It was a kit you could add to these machines to get hydraulic lift instead of manual lift. Pretty cool option!
clemedc 29 #5 Posted February 7, 2013 Thats not a generator thats the Hydraulic pump called a HY2 by wheel horse.
clemedc 29 #6 Posted February 7, 2013 what is the extra generator for? or is it in place of the other one You just gave me a brain fart of an idea. I guess if you had a Cub starter/gen you could make it work mounted there LOL

Tankman 3,515 #10 Posted February 7, 2013 Very nice indeed! You would be better off with a manual lift! Please UPS the HY2 to my barn for **storage** just in case! :-)

clemedc 29 #14 Posted February 7, 2013 Thanks everyone. The Hy2 is complete and Marshall furnished the rebuild kit and gave me alot of help, even took it apart and showed me how to rebuild everything on the HY2. I went home and cleaned up the parts and reassembled the HY and after some trial and ERROR and destroying a Oring and Backing ring I got it together. As for what I will do with it I really dont know because I have another 702 project and the frame is all cleaned up and painted maybe Ill do a light restoration or just clean her up. I still need a correct starter/gen belt guard for this tractor, anyone have one?????? Clay
