On one side. I have a 12’ roll up door to put in the side of the container next to the barn. A 12’ x40’ awning will run off the other side of the barn.

I was finally going to get to go this year.
Gas cost and MPG of my truck the trip the fuel will cost 175.00
I was planning on loading up a trailer and engines and parts.
All added up hotel, gas and food I’ve decided to cancel my reservations.

My fuel costs would be $225-$250…not high enough to make me not go.

I do have something else going on in June that might screw up my plans unfortunately.

@squonk don't worry Skunky it won't cost too many dollars per mile for El Camino transport to haul your engine to the BS :ROTF:

But the experience of the big show---Priceless

Between Hotel and gas I'm probably around $700. Add food and fun, so easily a grand or more.

Still worth it!

@squonkUnless I find a pick up before the BS I will be driving my XC90 pulling a trailer. I may let you ride in the trailer when we go out to eat. He he

You better check the laws about animals riding in open trailers in PA! :)

You don't need a heavy chain. A Mr. T. starter set will be enough to hold me in this day and age! :(

Looking at Gasbuddy.com it appears the there are lots of islands of relatively low priced gas. I always do the price hunt the day before a trip to plan my gas stops.

Wasn't that long ago that family members on the road would call from their flip phone to ask if I could check traffic for them using my desktop computer with an internet connection. Home was one of their "5 friends you can call without using minutes" numbers.

I am more worried about Inflationary Prices of Wheel Horse Parts then any gas prices that might exist now or be coming in the next few months!

The cost of the original and replacement parts, attachments and tractors have far exceeded anything I can believe.

I wish it was the price of gas that made me think about not going. I wanted to make it this year as I didn't  make it last year. But my health is telling me no way. I miss all the friends I've made over the year's. But life goes on and I have to make the best of it.
