Decals are on their way. Thanks to Terry, this tractor is going to come out awesome. It's the final details that really make any project.

I also have him working on the "hood ornament" decal on our blackhoods.

I got my decals from Vinylguy. They look awesome. Now if I can get my brother in law to repaint the hood, I can get the rest of the decals on.

I'm planning on customizing Marvin my C-145 pending getting some decent sheet metal at the show. It won't be a full restore but it will be different. I was originally going to go Work Horse silver but I have decided on a different color scheme. Only myself and Terry know what it is.

A really lovely job there.

 

I like the track rods. (Tie rods to you). I've been thinking along those lines myself. Much better than the wheel Horse idea. Also the front weight. Neat!

Jack, I guess the details on those 'fancy tie rods' must be somewhere here on RS, but can you give me details on what/how/who/when/where? etc ?

 

Mine are pretty loose and I'm planning on replacing them.  If I can make it 'better' I will!

I had these made by the race car shop that I have fabricate all my race car parts - hence the "track rods" term.  They cost me $28 for the two of them.
