mower deck questions

Recommended Posts

I am looking at purchasing a mower deck for my C-111 and was curious what the largest deck that I can use with out over working the tractor would be? I am purchasing a home on almost 2 acres and my push mower is definately not going to cut it, no pun intended :hide:

I would say a 42" would be the best for a C-111, but a 48 will fit. The 48 would be to much mower if the grass got ahead of you.

i agree about a 48 an 11 hp could do it but it would be too much over time,i have different tractors with different hps and when i put the 42 on the k241 i have to slow down, when the grass gats longer,

I just sold my C111 but I mowed my yard with it before delivery just to make sure everything was working correctly, it had a 42" rear discharge deck that worked great but I wouldn't go any bigger.

Can't speak about the Briggs 11 hp on a C-111, but on my C-111 with a

11 hp Honda and a 48" SD deck, there are no problems. My two acres are

quite flat and I don't let the grass get out of hand.

:) I would go with the 42" mower deck.I don't like to work my tractors any harder than I have to. :hide: Just my opinion. :WRS:

Might try sending Kelly an email. He usually has just about anything you want and good prices to :hide:
