have no idea what model it is but it came with the deck and two engines,1 briggs and 1 tech off a snowblower.all 4 wheels are and in nice condition.i just need a complete engine,wiring harness , gas tank and a belt guard.

Holy cow!!!! What did the guy do?? Restore and paint it then give it to you??Last free one I got had zero paint on any of the tin.Just a nice rust color.Plus 4 flat tires and no upholstery on the seat pan.You are one lucky man....

the po delivered it right to my door he also said he has the id tag and hopefully he will drop it off soon. so these tractors have a plastic gas tank mounted on the engine,ok. what size and brand engine should it have,or would that depend on which of the 600s it is?

It's a metal tank, if it is a 6XX tractor it would be a Tecumseh, find the ID tag we can tell you all about it.

Rick I will have to look to make sure but I think I have the engine tins with correct data plate for the h60 you need to go with that tractor not sure if the ones I have are for a 66 or 67 but if your interesteted in them to make it appear original I will check for sure.

The first tag is for the mower deck 36" the tractor is a 656, 1966 6hp tecumseh that would have had pull and electric start,
