520-H hood stripe?

Thought I'd share an idea I talked over with Terry the vinylguy today.

It's a custom hood stripe idea in the original factory colors for my '88 520-H. It's meant to pay homage to the '68 500 Special. I know the image is rather crude, but you get the idea, what do you think? Go or no go? :thumbs:

Not crazy about it and getting the pieces on the louvers in a straight line would be a challenge.

I personally like hood stripes but not that one. Find a picture of a Bronco 14 and check out the hood stripe on that model.

I couldnt find a Bronco picture with a stripe. Maybe they never had a stripe . But heres a Raider with a stripe.

Man if you have to forfeit that tractor for just asking about that stripe, man that's harsh. All I can say is all you members that have super heavy modified tractors beware the penalties could be astronomical.

That's a significant improvement . You will be challenged to apply it as a Decal though!.

Maybe Airbrush it on and top coat with Laquer :thumbs:
