catbird

Hi all,

Enclosing pictures of Catbird's sure cure for cabin fever. That is, my new in Dec 1997 520 H with a good set of toys. The JD 420 has been looking extra green lately.

Got on of those 420's myself. bought it as a project w/ a new Kohler command in it. Rebuilt the deck too,had it powder coated w/some new expensive stuff. Looks like glass though. It's not far from being done.

Good lookin tractors  . Are they for only show or do they have chores. It looks like a Wheel Horse 42" rear discharge deck in the second pic.

I'm only guessing from owning several yellow ones, but I would believe the engine should be a 20 HP twin Kohler.

I have more red ones than green ones but love them all.

The 420's came w/Onans. The 400 had Kohlers. Now you know why mine has a Kohler command replacement.
