Snowblower Weight

Does anyone have an idea of what a snow blower when attached weights, also if you have a manual lift, what is a guess of how much ur pulling up with the lift handle,

Judging by the way my left arm feels now.. They weigh alot! I would guess your pulling 55+lbs..?

According to the manual, a two-stage, 38" blower has a shipping weight of 130 pounds. I know you asked about single-stage, but this is the only manual that I have with any sort of weight listed.

If I didn't have hydraulic lift, I would get me one of these and figure out a way to mount it as a helper spring.

I don't know how much force it takes to lift a two-stage but it is not difficult. I sold one to a 76 year old man and when he tried it on my tractor with a manual lift he had no problem. This blower weighs 380 lbs !!! As long as it's hooked up properly it should not be an issue with a manual lift. Check out this vid of C-160 with a two-stage on a manual lift tractor. He demonstrates a few times how easy it is to lift.
