Thanks for posting that Steve, it made my night which helps because a crown just popped off one of my teeth about a half hour ago. Thats ok, I dont need that stupid crown to drink my beloved coffee

I sincerely hope and pray that you and the rest of my online Wheel Horse family have a terriffic and safe Thanksgiving. This has also been on my mind and in my heart since I was made aware of Max... please remember and keep in your heart Max and his family , not only during Thanksgiving but all the time, its just with the Thanksgiving and Christmas coming soon, well I get to thinking about all I have to give thanks for and it puts things into perspective. I hope and pray that Max and others like him will someday soon recieve the ultimate thing to give thanks for, a cure for cancer. I am not meaning to preach or anything, this has just been on my mind a lot.

John

Well...I gotta answer this one. Bud, actually, the dinner is heavy enough to take on a red wine. White will work just fine, but is a little light for this kind of dinner. Depending on your taste, I would recommend a blush or rose'. A good blush Zinfandel would be perfect...fruity, good color, nice aromas hinting of full fruits, and finishes very nicely. Later with deserts, I recommend a good tawny Port wine. Tawny means aged. Port is a fortified wine that can take on chocolate, pumpkin, pecan pie, etc.

Don't forget there are some very good fruit wines out there. Cherry, plum, cranberry...all would be excellent with the traditional turkey dinner.

enjoy my friends
