Ok to start with I got the tires off of ebay. Kartwheels@Juno.com $140.00 for the pair plus 22.67 shipping. They are Firestone 16X6.50X8. The front wheels are off a c141. Item #300428424530 on ebay.

I hope that the ribs work great in the snow. They do great in the garden. I will hook a blade to it this winter and find out. The 14HP kol has a lot of power. I am going to use suite case weinght on the front instead of front wheel weights. Already have the weights just have to make the mount to put on the front.

I have a rear discharge deck for it that I have not made up my mind if I am going to put it back on it. The tiller works great. I may just use it to till and push snow.

To convert it from a briggs 11 hp was a job in its self. But it was worth it.

Thanks for looking. Any more questions let me know.

Just a question so I can learn something new. Why is the throttle coming in from the left side? Can I assume that is an older 14hp than mine on my 1979 C-141 so was curious if that is the reason.

Mostly, Love the tri-ribs!

Yes it is an older 14 hp that has been rebuilt and the cable comes in from the left side. The tri ribs work great.

C-Series,

It is possible with the replaement engine that we routed the throttle cable wrong...just throwing that out there...can you send a close up pic of how your throttle connects.

This is on a C-161 but is the same on my C-141.

I have a 10 HP that should work that way, BUT the rod and pivot (mounted under the coil) was missing, so I had to put the cable on from the flywheel side.

Maybe that is what happened to Daddy Don.

Great looking machine! I love the look of the ribbed front tires. Where did you get the anti slip material for the floorboards?
