gregg.d250 0 #3 Posted January 31, 2010 When you look at the costs of obtaining all those items separately, it's less than the asking price. I'd make sure the seller isn't trying to use the thrower as a tiller.... looks a bit odd mounted on the back there in the picture. Call me old fashioned, but backblades go behind the tractor, and most throwers go on the front, unless we are talking Cat 1 & 2 attachments.

Go to any outlet store and start comparing with what they stock. MTD 800.00, Sears 900.00. Do the math ! With the horse you have tiller and blower! _ Bill

The snow blower is not the original setup. I sure would like to have the tiller though but he won't sell it separately

Kelly 1,028 #7 Posted January 31, 2010 well the price is up to you if it's what you want and the money you want to spend, I think that machine is a owned by a RS member here, he said he mounted the blower that way because he couldn't find the right one. Kelly 1,028 #9 Posted January 31, 2010 Yup it's a briggs twin, that tractor is kinda a one of a kind machine, the hood is fiberglass, it fit's the old style dash, has the plastic fenders, a briggs 16hp twin, and this one looks to be in pretty good shape. Kelly 1,028 #10 Posted January 31, 2010 In years to come this might be a collectable machine, with it's one year only parts and you don't see tons of them around.
C-Series14 15 #11 Posted January 31, 2010 Yup, pretty hard to find tractor in that shape. A little to far out in the boonies for me. If it is the original plastic fender AND in one piece, it is a miracle. The original fenders were the first run and they were thinner than the second style found on the 1980 to 1984 tractors. They were prone to breaking in the pan section...
