These are topnotch material and hold tight. they are the same as was used at the factory. peter lena 8,064 #87 Posted February 7, 2023 @Lee1977 found that firming up those bearings and related areas to tougher lubrication , has prevented galling / scoring to movement areas . very solid / smooth . washer up that lateral / side bearing play , thats the killer to bearings . when they shuck / slide impact , side to side , that is their weakest point . washers eliminate that . since doing that to my horses , there is no bearing issues . when I grease the front end its off the ground for better grease coverage , and you can verify how it feels for function . bearings fail when they are out of their strong point and grease that will not hold in place. only a suggestion , pete 2 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Hey Tim, what I have should work fine. The spindles aren't as long because no extra length is needed beyond the hub for a washer and cotter pin but everything else looks right. You can have them both so you have bolts on both and not one with a bolt and one with a cotter pin.
