We were discussing what the options could have been and Terry says, Ya know? I've never seen one that was red with all black decals....

Eb those decals look really sharp! That resto has really come together! Very nice!

ITS ALIIIIIVE !!!!

And in only 15 pages... gotta be a new record for you...:ychain:

Get it out in the woods on a nice sunny day for some calendar shots.

Your right tho... threw this muff on just for the halibut and nice tone. Reminds me of a Cub stack. Yours is a bit louder but you got twice the quish bang goin on.

This evening we took a look at options for white lighting.

I'll have a 17 watt 6-in-a-row oblong  LED light out back.

The front headlamp hole will be creatively filled with a newer style Wheelhorse lense with flat LEDs behind it in a sandwich.

Because I want lamps facing off to the side angle at the front I've put these 4" diameter LEDs on a pair of magnetic mounts.

The mounts are maybe 3" diameter and have a ring of neodymium magnets embedded in rubber.

These are the same lamps I've had on my first Wheelhorse. A B80. Also the attempt at a 1267/8 speed.

Last year and the year before I just used a people mounted headlamp. It'll be great to have a full set of lights again.

Other lighting will include two LED magnetic mount flashers, the rear tail lamp with LEDs, and a few other little add-ons of LED lights.  🤠

OK, we know Trina has a project she will be working on, :confusion-shrug:  how about you? :confusion-confused:   Time to roll out COLOSSUS isn't it?

Nope. Not yet.

Much as I'd love to see the Colossus Beast in use...

That's a few down the line at this point.

Trina's Millie 856. Engine and transmission swap.

My next will likely be getting one of my 1974 C160-8 Tecumseh engine tractors up n going.

The truck will be gettin' some attention when the weather warms a little.

Mackissic chipper shredder needs work.

After that.... Or mixed in...?

MAYBE I'll get back to the Big Wheel Horse.

The headlamp lense is a later type replacement that's cracked already so I didn't feel to bad about experimenting with an idea for bulbs I tripped over here on Redsquare... Modified a little...

With all those LEDs, you can play baseball with the headlights!

Hahahahahaha....

@OldWorkHorse made an interesting comment on the lights yesterday as well.

So here's my actual logic on the front set-up.

The hood side lights are the ones I'll be using pretty much all the time.  They'll angle outward and a little down to catch a glow at the far corners of the Big 60" plow.

The middle lights in the hood will certainly help shine the center of my driving direction but I really only wanted them so I could fill the hole in the hood.  And.... They're lights.

😄

BTW I'm not done with lights yet....
