I should add that the vehicles had to reverse down as no room to turn at the top. Passengers had to disembark and walk down. One did roll but driver and car OK.

Veteran Pre 1919

Vintage 1919 - 1930

Classic 1930 onwards

I've always loved watching those gutsy little Austins. Great to see quite a few of those old motors in the hands of the next generation!

Just returned from a week driving around Oxfordshire, Wales, and Somerset in a rented Corolla with heat and cruise control :lol:.

Definitely. 

The M4 and its HGVs and impatient drivers are challenging enough without chugging along sedately in an Austin.

@Stormin Norm what is the vehicle with the chain drive looks like the number plate is 5987 could not make out all of the plate.

It's a GN, Jim. British make. Transverse V twin. A JAP I expect. That's the same car in the preceding photo. Google GN car for history. :thumbs:
