Well done Zeek, and great to hear from you again!

You'll tell us all about your motorcycle projects someday, right?

Geez Tom, juggling machetes is something that should be left to professionals...

All kidding aside, I hope you have fully recovered, and thanks for the "Red Tractors" post.

Theresa and I might be down your way (Wildwood) in February for a couple days. I might have some time to get together. Will let you know.

Great purchase eventhough it's no Wheel Horse :handgestures-thumbupright:

Was this museum known as 'Farmall land'?

Saw some great pictures from what was stored there, amazing.

Sad they made the decision to sell everything.

That there is a true thing. Other than the fact that they keep letting me hang around this place does okay.

Good to see you back on.

Yes, I would have preferred the M as well but me and another guy were bidding on the same two. He paid more than I wanted to for the M becuase it needed all new rubber and wasn't quite as nice as the H. Plus the H came from another collection which I kind of though was cool.

No motorcycle projects, just riding. I treated myself to a 2019 Street Glide Special for retirement from my other job once we moved here and got settled.

Yes sir on Wildwood, I'm 25 minutes from there depending on exact location!

I'm about 95% on the wrist. . . little bit of nerve damage, but it works the way it should. Xmas eve last year I decided to cut some what we call "elephant ear" plants down at the base (grab/cut/throw, grab/cut/throw) with a brand new razor sharp landscape knife. One glance of a base and bam, through two of the three thumb tendons. Stitched at the ER then surgery a few days later to get things reattached. I must say, that was THE worst pain I ever had in my entire life with whacking the nerve:laughing-rofl:. Then the whole hard cast/soft cast/brace/PT routine. They say you're better off breaking a bone, it's a shorter process. I don't plan on checking. Thanks for asking though :)

We have elephant ears too, but we cut them with these and take the bulbs in for the winter.

My son had a tendon detach at his elbow. The surgery was fairly simple to reattach, but as you said, the pain afterwards was bad. I'm glad you are healing.

But you got to love those elephant ears. Just a picture for you to remember them by.

Thats a proper injury that is Zeek.

Made me shudder to think of the feeling when you realised what you'd done!

Tge ladies of our garden group were all on the smelling salts when I showed them the images.

Good to know it's on the mend.

That is a very beautiful H. I too love the old letter series Farmalls, and own a few of them myself. It's sad to see these museums being shut down and the collections being sold off, but I'm always happy to see the tractors going to a good home after the sale.

Not the same museum, Farmall Land was another located in Avoca Iowa that sadly closed 2 years ago and the collection was sold off shortly afterwards.

Watch out Tom, next thing you know she's going to be putting some weights on it, a turbo charger, and a wheelie bar. Those Farmalls make pretty good pullers.
