It’s pretty amazing to think that that Evinrude may have been pushing some doughboy around a lake who was fortunate enough to make it home from the war to end all wars.  And for the low price of 110 dollars (or 11 gold eagles).  That’s one expensive engine!  If it still runs (as one would surmise it does from the tag) it really boggles the mind.  And is that a hand crank starter?  Yikes!  Thanks for sharing these cool pics.
