Looking for complete K341 or K361

Looking for a nice, clean, and ideally running K341 or K361. I have cash and am ready to spend it on the right offer. I will also consider incomplete blocks. PM me if you have one you want to part with. Thanks!
  3. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I'm thankful for my loving family and friends, my freedom, my health, a roof over my head, something to eat, and overall happiness! With as bad as things seem sometimes, I think we forget just how good we really have it compared to many other folks around the world. To all the travelers...Be safe out there!
  4. To all who have served... Words don't seem enough, but I want to say THANK YOU to each and every one of you, past and present. YOU are the reason we enjoy our freedom and our safety! I'm sure there are quite a few of you on this board, so thank you all! :dunno:

    High speed

Like MaineDad, I also work for TWC, so I receive DOCSIS service as part of my benefits. I also have 512K DSL from Centurylink as a backup and am currently paying $29.95 a month for it. Hey...what can I say, I'm a network engineer Also if the cable goes out, how else am I supposed to login here ??
  6. I will echo the sentiments of others... SOOOO nice to see a young person interested in something without a monitor! Keep up the great work!

    Nice Day

Nice collection sir! Definitely great to see a dad and son share something like this...Be proud!
  8. Sorry for the double post, but I updated this over in the welcome area too... Well after a year of sidetracks and setbacks, mostly with house-related projects, I have finally started tearing into the C-141. Some initial pics... Not really sure what I am doing or how much I want to invest, but I figure that I will at minimum do a full repaint and engine rebuild. The tranny seems solid and was actually replaced in '84 according to my dad. No idea how many hours might be on the engine, but a rough estimate would be 1200 hours. Last time this thing ran reguarly was summer of '99 and she quit in a cloud of smoke! I had a '92 316-8 to use, so at the time no point in restoring it then. Not to mention I was a long-haired punk back then with other priorities! haha. So after sitting in a barn and encased in pigeon poo for 10 years, the deck is very rough... If you look close at the 2nd pic, you can see "daylight" in a couple spots, lol. It's probably beyond repair, but we'll see when I get to that point.

 ***BUMP*** Long overdue fellas... Well after a year of sidetracks and setbacks, mostly with house-related projects, I have finally started tearing into the C-141. Some initial pics... Hey all!...WH fan from NC

As an admin of a large message board, I know how intimidating it can be to immurse oneself into a new board. You guys are very welcoming and I appreciate it! Now onto the fun stuff... I have the wheels and tires that I will be dealing with first. I figure if I have something solid to roll it around on, that would be best. I'll be doing some searching on here and on the web. Again, thanks so much guys!

    Hey all!...WH fan from NC

Hello all... Just wanted to introduce myself as a new member. I'm Jason, 32, grew up in central PA and relocated down south about 5 years ago. I'm a Network Engineer for a Telco by trade and have been a WH fan since my feet could touch the pedals of our '78 C-141! Which, coincidentally is the reason I registered here. I am about to begin a complete restoration on her! I'm sure I will have a million questions. Anyone want to take me "under their wing"? I consider myself to be a pretty handy guy (3.75 out of 5 wrench rating ) but I am not sure where to begin. The last it ran was almost 10 years ago. Since then it's been sitting in a barn. Will definitely need new tires. My biggest question is... How much can I expect to spend? Assuming I will fully strip, paint, rehab, rebuild (maybe), etc. My girlfriend who is the voice of reason thinks I will probably spend as much as I would on a new mower. She obviously doesn't see the fun and pride (and headaches) in such a project! Anyhow, I am so excited to start this! And thanks in advance for any help! Will try to post some pics soon. (I'm in NC, tractor is in PA) -Jason
