    8 speed installation in b80

The transmission is out of a work horse in the for sale section on the 3rd page, so I don't have it yet and I would like to post some pics but it's kind of in pieces right now
  2. I have a question, would an 8 speed out of a 1990 work horse fit in a 1974 b80? I'm looking to replace the 4 speed with the 8 speed out of a 1990 work horse, would this work? Thanks, Steve

Yea I just bought regular ag tires on it, seems to do fine but I only had them in action once.. Wheel have to wate and see, wish me luch everyone!! Oh! By the way what's the easiest way to get the hubs off? A regular puller?

Yes I did, less surface for the belt to be On The pulley caused the slippage, witch is why I'm putting the stock one back on and a bigger one on the engine crank. Trial and error(:

I was thinking the same thing, but before I decided to do so I figured I'm not going to be on pavement so it will just spin hints why in not welding it, so if I don't like it I can change it back(: I was thinking the same thing, but before I decided to do so I figured I'm not going to be on pavement so it will just spin hints why in not welding it, so if I don't like it I can change it back(:
