11 pointsI found a used shed for sale for $200 last winter and finally got it off the trailer and put it to use. Its a 6x10 and just right for the loader. My son and I had to come-a-long it up on the trailer to get it home. Really not too bad a deal. Pretty happy for a couple of C notes!

11 pointsRemember, some of these little guys came from the factory with cigarette lighters in the dash Steve, so yes, I think some of these little guys might just be... old enough to smoke.

8 pointsGot some goodies in the mail today. Still have a few more things that havent arrived yet but here is what I did today. The seat on the C-161 was bad. It was just a piece of foam over the seat pan with a ripped up vinyl cover over it. The PO even poured glue all over and tried to glue another piece of vinyl over the entire seat. It was a mess. So I took your advice and ordered one from AGRI Supply. Not a bad seat for the money. Big improvement over what was there. The other little package that came today was from @Vinylguy . Thank You for the decals they look FANTASTIC !. The one side was melted pretty good and peeling and wrinkled so I thought new decals but not going to paint it. Learned my leason with the Lambert ! So with the brand new seat and the new set of decals the tractor is looking much better. Still waiting on a couple more things but here is how it came out. Oh the hood decals are an off white, something @Vinylguy was making. He said he might make it an option. Thanks Again I love them!!!

5 pointsI'm about to purchase my first Wheel Horse! Way back in the 80's, my first job was at a Wheel Horse dealer and I fell in love with their rock solid simplicity. I even talked my Dad into buying a fully-loaded 416-8 back in the day. I found this local deal for a very clean looking 310-8. I'd rather a 4 series, but this one looks really good. And it seems like a great deal at $450, but I'm not really sure of the going rate these days. This would be in the Northeast if that matters. What do you experts say? Thanks!

5 pointsWell I got my D160 up and running I took her for a drive around my block and she didnt let me down. I bought a new $20 brass float on ebay and it works very good! It was a bit bent but i straightened it out. I also got the charging system working! I learned once again that some folks shouldnt try mechanics. They took the three bare wires and wrapped them around the post and then used electric tape! UUGG!!

5 pointsI've really gotta get this tractor. Imagine: Instead of procrastinating about pulling the deck because it involves 6-8 hitch clips all you have to do is lower the deck, loosen the mule drive, slip the belt off the pulley, push a button on the tach-o-matic to release the front mount, and slide the deck out. It gives me goose bumps.

5 pointsGot my forms up and finally had a chance to pour our concrete. No way to get a truck back there, a Georgia buggy wouldn’t work on the hill, and I’m too cheap to hire a pump truck. So, guess what I did! We have a small electric concrete mixer, so I made two trips to Lowe’s for bagged concrete. Ended up using 192 50 pound bags. Talk about tired! I’m exhausted!!!

5 pointsThat was it. I had to bust the lower gear out by splitting it with a chisel. I worked at it for a good 10 minutes and no matter how I positioned it you just couldn't get it off of the pin. Thank you all for your help!! Kindest regards Ed

4 pointsHe's about 1.5hrs from me, maybe a little more from Jim. @Snoop@ICI @stevasaurus has a link to his Youtube. channel included on his post. He has some very good video's on rebuilding transmissions. When you pulled the hubs off, were both woodruff keys in tact? Did you pull the drive pulley on the trans for the belt off yet? Was that key in tact? Just want to verify that these are all in good shape before you go through the trouble of opening the cases, If you have the transmission out and the hubs, brake drum, & drive pulley removed. All that is left is to loosen the set screw that holds the shifter in and remove the shifter. Then remove the bolts that hold the two cases together. Find a good spot to tap on with a drift to split the two cases. Here is a good source for tranny parts. Also the only source to get a new #1533 bearings and new #5323 3rd gear. https://www.wheelhorsepartsandmore.com/transmissions.html
