12 pointsNot that she has a very marketable trade... not that she's not as sweet as pecan pie...I guess that she just supports my whims (read hobbies or even addictions) and comes home with stuff like this.

8 pointsA war torn stallion, never kept inside, covered? Sure...with an obliterated tarp, resembling a battle worn american flag that survived the trenches of WW1...she may be weathered, but a quick pull of the choke and one turn of that key and she fires up instantly on a below zero upstate NY morning...this is the first time in over 20 years shes been indoors

7 pointsGreat Job Cindy! She’s a keeper for sure Jim and not just because of the cool shirts. She is a great host to a cool Plow day, made my birthday last year very special, likes the furry kids, and is very supportive of your WH hobby (even into herself)—to name just a few! While we are speaking of keepers, I can’t thank God enough for Kelli. She is without a doubt, daily, one of the greatest blessings in my life! (Don’t know why she stays with me but I’m so glad she does!)

6 pointsMy wife is an avid quilter and over the past decade has become very involved with an organization you may not be aware of. The Quilts Of Valor Foundation awards quilts to veterans in recognition of their military service. I have accompanied my wife several times when quilts were being awarded and each ceremony is very heartwarming. If you want to learn more about QOV here is the web site. https://www.qovf.org/ Yesterday the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians hosted one of the most outstanding Veterans' Recognition celebrations I have had the honor of attending. Seventeen veterans were wrapped in Quilts Of Valor including a World War Two solder and the widow of an Afghanistan casualty. There was also a Welcome Home celebration for all Vietnam Era veterans. We all received a hat with our branch of service, a beautiful arrowhead shaped medallion with all branches of the US Military represented and a chow hall tray (first one i had ever seen that wasn't all dented!

6 pointsBirthday boy Richie, gave me heads up on this one, a month are two ago (damned enablers). Local guy listed that he had two old WHs for sell $100.00 for both. When I got there one wasn't a horse, some kind of a MTD maybe, but the other one was. I told him I'd give him $75.00 for it but I didn't want the other tractor, done deal. We got to talking about WHs, he said he had seen only one before, he bids on estate sell auctions and want to know what to look for. After we talked for a while he said that one of the engines he got in the same auction had W H written on it and it might be from the tractor. We end up a one of his storage building, there were about 6 or 7 engines that he got in the auction, the one with the W H written on it look to be the one off the tractor, he said I could have it. Sitting next was a K91 with tank, it turned over and had compression, he asked if $100.00 was good . So what I got was a crusty locked in gear original 603 with the crusty original 6hp, and a nice K91. I don't plan on doing anything with the tractor but wanted to save it from being scraped. I thought about parting it out but I think I'll leave it like it is, somebody down here my need or want it, or if I ever get to the show I'll bring it with me.

5 pointsIt’s a good thing that Cindy didn’t put your Redsquare handle on the T-shirt! She would have had to open up an account at the shirt shop for as often as that changes I must have missed one I thought you were WHX20 last week? But seriously - nice shirts Jim!

5 pointsTo each their own. I encourage children to sit on my at shows. If we don't put forth a friendly attitude the next generation will have nothing to do with our hobby and we have our selves to blame. Hay Kid, Have A Seat!

5 pointsThanks to a PM from @JAinVA ,Here is an update on Marks condition. As stated in the first post, He recovered from the surgery where a portion of his right lung and 6 lymph nodes were removed. One of the nodes tested malignant prompting a series of chemo treatments. The first treatment was followed by a tough week where severe heartburn and hic cups caused Mark to be unable to sleep or eat resulting in him losing 12 pounds. After several different meds, we got this under control, and he was feeling good last week. So this week, he started working 1/2 days, but is feeling tired and having periods of nausea. He is scheduled for the second chemo treatment next Friday. I will keep you updated. Thanks again for the reminder Jim. Ed

5 pointsYah know Tom that ain't a bad idea...this place printed all this stuff while she waited and is kinda like Terry where she can do anything in short order. Had I known earlier a special plow day shirt for those in attendance??? Possibly an option...

4 pointsA few pics from the show. Oh, I found my mash pole sign on my seat this morning. Thanks for saving it from the Big Show Jay @roadapples.

4 pointsInviting them to sit on a tractor is one thing. It's another to go after a hot dog and come back to your tractor and find a kid jumping up and down on the seat and his brother crawling on the hood and parents standing there staring at their phones.

4 pointsIt’s been good! My beautiful wife took me to lunch and then to northern tool and bought me a seat. Love this woman 💕

4 pointsI haven't been on the site for quite a while. My wife had breast cancer and we dealt with that all of last year and so far things are good. I guess its ironic that the first day in months I decide to check in I come across this. Ed, everybody ( if I may say so) is pulling for your son. I'll go one more by hoping you are able to continue, helping him through the process. I don't know either one of you but I'm pretty certain your company at the chemo facility is more than welcome. You'll be making some "extended family" at those sessions over the course of time. They are kind of like this forum, some of the nicest sincerest people , you'll ever cross paths with. I hope, with all the dedication I can muster, that the treatments do their work and the process isn't uncomfortable for your son. Everyone reacts differently to chemo. Make certain any discomforts that your son experiences are relayed to his nurses and doctors, they want to help him as much as they can. they can only help if they know. The nausea, any of it, let them know. Our people were amazing and I hope the same is true for you. I , more than understand, the concept of being the "navigator" in all this. There will be tough days from time to time and all you can do is hang in there and bare the brunt of it. You have a considerable following of people who look out for you here. I hope I may be in their company. Chris

4 pointsThanks guys! The best gift I have gotten so far is the blessing of another day. Every day I wake up on the north side of the dirt is a gift. Then I get to fill it with friends like you guys. Thank you for the birthday wishes.

4 pointsI had a coworker that went through chemo and had to keep working. It was worse out in the heat. We were on service trucks at the time. He was beat tired so we all pulled together and carried most his load and let him sleep in the truck while we did the work. It really knocks the snot out of you. My sister in law is going through all this mess. I wish you, your family and especially your son the best.

Put plastic up on the screen porch.... Get shovel and ice chopper out and put on porch to be ready for when my 15 yr. old beagle has to go potty........ Bring in glass gazing ball so it doesn't get broken and I have to fork over another $60 bucks on my way home from the show... Haul my filled tires out of the basement and get them on the C160 and get them on HHHOOOWWWAAARRRDDD!!! Dig the blower from the shop and pull off a wheel adapter to get another pair made....

3 pointsA customer submitted this drawing to me so I could make a decal for his tractor. He put one on a magnet so he can use it at shows then remove it when appropriate. I may have to make me a shop banner now. I think it is awesome and he is allowing me to offer them on my website. What do you think?
