:huhs: Oh, yeah.....I get it. Fear not, it shall earn it's keep (when exactly the earnings commence, I know not), and when the time is deemed to be appropriate it will wreak havoc upon it's intended path and all will see it's profound glory (if my camera works). And it's path will be known to all (because it pretty much tears up everything, grass, gravel, dirt, etc. There's really no hiding where it's been). And it life as a Queen will be known to be false as the scars of it's toils it shall wear. Ed 3:12

The Higher Power whom I choose to call God created all of us as equals from the womb. Some go on to achieve recognition in ways that garner great attention from the the masses, whether for good or bad. Others are simply content to make this world a far better place through good works done without the need or desire for recognition or praise, quietly touching and enriching the lives of those lucky enough to come into contact with them. I consider myself fortunate...blessed...to know such a person, and for that I can only say Thank You, Terry...... And among such men I also count the likes of Karl, TT, Chuck, Bob, Jack, and so many, many more who give of themselves, their knowledge and their resources to make this forum, this special part of our world, a place to gather, share, offer support and sometimes just to commiserate in a world that seems to have forgotten life's simple pleasures. It is a privilege to be among you. Duff :flags-waveusa:

We pulled the ice shanty out on the lake farther. Now its 1.5 miles out and way to far to drag everything on foot. So I pulled the blower off and loaded the tractor on the truck! A few pics of the pair of bald eagles nested on the island nearby. Wish I had a better camera.

Definitely, been saved in my favorites. One of the first vid's I found on Youtube. I think a video of his build up is out there too, IIRC. I've always liked the fact that he actually uses his to push dirt. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9IjfP8Dtu4&feature=channel

That's a real good question. I have found serial & model numbers incorrectly listed on some of the Yahoo groups. But having said that, anyone can make a mistake. Lord knows that someday I'll make one.

Most Common are going to be 1/4-20, 5/16-18 AND 3/8-16. Lengths varying from 3/4" to 2" would be a great starting "kit" there are some 1/2-13 , but those are few enough you'd be better off buying as needed the correct size. I would get some flat washers, lock washers, fender washers nuts and some ny-lock nuts in each size as well. A quick Lesson: An SAE "fastener" (that's what a non-metric bolt or nut is...) is named by it s Diameter and thread. For example : a "1/4-20" is a 1/4" Diameter with 20 threads per inch. ALso known as a 1/4" NC( or Coarse Thread) Anyone currently doing a full restoration and interested in some free hardware...give me a PM...

You would be correct! A mistake many people make is to chem dip, whire wheel, etc. Then they bolt together parts and paint the hard ware and all is good...except that you did not protect the threads. In relatively short order your bolts will be rusted in the threads. Even if your going to paint the threads, buy new bolts. You can buy every bolt on the tractor for around $30!

First Thing I strapped trans into crate with strap iron, or "plumbers tape". In front of it one rear wheel. these are not stock as Lars bought wider tires. Next I mounted the engine and hood stand to the frame and zip tied the hood in place backwards. All that got strapped over trans and wheel. Other rear wheel, rear fenders and seat fit nicely , I filled the rear wheel with small items. Front tires in behind, Deestone Tri-Ribs and Deestone rears in front. the rest just fit in where it would... Front wheels have arrived as well as seat cushion which will go in this week. A few more Hardware store Items and it is ready to go to Nashville! One problem Lars will Have to deal with is with the Hood stand in the stock Location it interferes with the K91. Anyone have any ideas or pics on a remedy.
