57 inch grader

Got a section of blade from Don (Lee1977) and built a grader with it.

Has five positions and weighs close to 100lbs. Handle allows for repositioning from the seat. Side plates are removable.

Stumbled across these old pics. I almost forgot this thing was still here.

Anyway, I made it to fit the 3-point or a clevis hitch. Used a 42 inch dozer blade, and boxed the sides with 1/8 plate. Has slots for 6 scarifers.

I was at a friends of my wife's her husband came home with a load of bent 10 gage trailer boxes. I ask about buying one he said that if I helped him to unload them he would give me one. He was also a Wheel Horse owner, had a C-160 auto. The 10 gage box is 3' x 5' with 6" sides. I took it home and built this:

I welded a 3/4"x3/4"x 1/8" angle to the top of the sides, the front is a 6" Jr. I beam. The frame is 1"x1"x 1/8" angle. The axle support is 2" channel with 3/4" x3/4" x 1/8" angle bracing. It's heavy don't know how much it weights.

I bought this John Deere weight bracket from doc724 and mounted some weights from and old exercise machine . It's 120lbs. This is on my 523DXI .

I needed something to help break up the hard packed limestone driveway, so I built a belly ripper. It mounts to the rear hitch, it could use some weight mounts on each corner but it's 42" wide so I just put my feet on top of the bar for some down pressure if needed. I've used it couple of times now and it works great.

Drawbar Hitch for Wheel Horse 1054

This drawbar hitch can be used with the slot hitch in place and attaches to the rear snowplow attachment -in this case on a 1054 but could be used on other Wheel Horse tractors.

This hitch allows you to attach a ball, a clevis and has several holes in the drawbar for pins , etc to attach other equipment.

My custom 1965 655 with 2, 7hp briggs. sears modded tranny. runs like a watch! NEVER! misses a beat! Along with a custom double disk and custom cultivator. The attachments were lifted by wench or handle.
