  • Wanted: # 6769, 1482 & 1483 decks 4 1/2" idler pulley, w 3/8" mounting hole

Went to change blades today and discovered a shot idler pulley with bearing center carrying the pulley in a very wobbly fashion on my 1482/1483 48" mower deck.

My parts sheets show the WH # to be 6769, a 4 1/2" OD flat pulley with a 3/8" mounting hole in the bearing. It's approximately 7/8" in total height and with a 3/4" belt surface.

If anyone can suggest a substitute pulley source which might be obtained locally, I'm all ears.

This would be my quickest solution as I am always behind in anything I do now with the wife on permanent dialysis and me playing chauffeur, shopper, and domestic chore boy (above the normal expectations).

Open for suggestions for a quick fix.

    Thanks,

    Steve
