  • Adjustable Seat Slides for 300/400/500

We have recently added a 312 to the herd. The users (who range in size from <5' up to 6'2") are totally spoiled by the adjustable seat on the 520 and are insistent that we get similar slides for the 312.

I've seen new ones in the $35 range but was hoping to spend less.

    Thanks!

You will need a set of springs that are drilled at 8".  Most springs are drilled at 7.5"

@fast88pumight have a set of springs and sliders.  I know he's parted a couple of 520's recently.

    Interesting information, thanks,

When I did the 520, I used a "generic" slide set that I picked up used somewhere--likely not WH. They had a lot of different holes so I was able to match up to the springs I had, but there were no studs so I had to fashion all my own bolts.

I bought some sliders from a go cart supply place.  I’m not home now but you can search for them on that type of place.  When I get home in a day or so I’ll try to find the info.

Here is the adjusters I used.  As you can see they will need a bit of modification to fasten to the seat.  The 8" spacing is right for a 520 but the springs will need drilled or the bolts moved on the adjuster.  The lever is longer than stock so ti should be sawed to a more appropriate length.  These adjusters are made a bit heavier than stock and in my opinion it is worth some work to use them.

Thanks, Ed. I have seen these (or something like them).

It looks like the total travel would be only about 4.5". The ones I have on the 520 have 6.5". Not sure if we use it all, though! :)

I had to trim the handle on that set as well.
