  • 44" snowblower 2 stage Impeller

I have the 2 stage snowblower #79361 that I bought with a 520 and completely tore everything apart, replaced anything needed and swapped all hardware to stainless. BUT the impeller had quite a few bangs and dings in it. I don't trust it will last or run smooth at all and take the new bearings out. The new ones I see advertised are just crazy money. Does anyone have a source for aftermarket impeller or have a very good not bent used one?

    Thanks, Jim

Guessing your talking the one in the tunnel?

I had one that was bent real bad... prolly from PO tossing rocks. I give it to @Achto and he straightened it pretty good.

Used a blade balance to sort of dial it in and worked pretty good. Since these are a smaller diameter they don't need to be spot on. Best thing to do with any deuce is add the support bracket for the auger drive.

Thanks, I will check on the one for sale in NH. It's a 7 hour drive for me but we shall see...... And yes, I think that bracket is a great idea and will do the same when it's all ready.

Have you found what you needed? I have three used two stage throwers for parts or restore in Western Massachusetts. If interested I will send you photos.
