I bought this 1979 C-141 automatic to get the pulleys off it for my lawn vac. I will trade for any attachments of equal value i don't already have. I could also use a 5-1010 42" mower deck. Previous owner said it hadn't been run for 3 years. Looks like it had new carb and points put on it. Only one tire will hold air more than 5 minutes. I got it started and it ran good and the hydro drive and lift all worked good. It smoked like crazy but had good compression, so I thought I would let it run through some heat cycles and see if the oil rings were stuck. The rings did break loose but not in the way I wanted, I heard them bouncing inside the cylinder and I shut it off. Pulled the head and there was a piece of piston and rings broke off. Bottom end still spins and valves and piston move, cylinder walls are glazed but surprisingly I can feel no scoring at all. I figured I would offer it whole if anyone wanted it, and if I get no good offers I will part it out later.
