My grandfather bought this tractor new in Michigan and used it through his entire life. He took very good care of it, always stored it in a special shed that was exclusively for this tractor. This tractor literally put food on the table. It tilled the garden, plowed the garden, mowed the lawn, pushed snow, hauled wood, and probably more.
The tractor runs, although I haven't run it in years, but it does smoke and leak oil as I recall. I'm sure it needs a full going-over if not a rebuild. My grandfather took good care of his things, but in his old age he did start having trouble.
This comes with a snow plow, a mower deck that is not currently usable one wheel needs to be replaced and a spindle at the minimum, a 1-bottom plow that I believe my grandfather may have adapted to this tractor rather than being made for wheel horse along with a hitch that you can see on the tractor. I don't quite recall how that setup works, but I know he used it to prep for corn for many years. The tractor has some heavy steel wheel weights that he made himself (he was a fabricator).
Also included is a K-181 off a C-85, of which my other grandfather was the original owner. Its a good complete block but it has been taken apart since it had snapped a rod. It comes with two crank shafts, and I think just needs the cylinder honed but I'm not a pro.
I really hate to sell this, and I'm open to any reasonable offers, there is a lot here but it all needs some work. My plan was to restore this, this is the tractor I learned to drive on and I have many fond memories, but life keeps getting in the way.
I do need this to all go as a lot.
