1985 314A with 42" rd deck and Brinly Hitch

1985 Wheel Horse 314a.. has a Kohler K 321 14 hp engine and hydrostatic drive. Runs and drives great... no leaks... no odd noises... no smoke. Has a 42" rear discharge deck with good belts and blades---runs quiet. Could use a coat of paint but I never got to it. No rot... located in Andover CT 06232. Delivery for gas money available within reasonable distance.
There is a fully functional Brinly Slot Hitch on back... it was used for pulling a Rake to clean up yard debris. It's a very nice solid work tractor. Thanks Tony

414-8 runs good drives good. It’s missing the side cover by the lift handle and does have a little bit of a noisy idler or tensioner bearing for the drive belt. Doesn’t have actual dually spacers it’s just black iron pipe for spacers just for show. Comes with side discharge deck and snow plow. I don’t have the axle bracket for the plow. The seat has some tears. This won’t win any shows but is a good worker

Pretty sure this cultivator was bought for use with our Wheel Horse, which was purchased around 1960. The cultivator was used for a few years, then was stored in a barn with a dirt floor for many years, so it is pretty rusty. If the ad is here, the cultivator is still available.

1997 314H runs and cuts great. Has a very nice 42” rear discharge deck. Just replaced front tires, starter, oil change. Has a P.O. Foot control as well as the original hand control. Rear tires are filled but mismatched. Tread is excellent. I have the rear hitch as well. 1159 hours and as you can see this is a very clean tractor. I also have available at extra cost a very nice original snowblade and a clevis hitch. The cable would be needed for the hitch as it was removed and sold prior to my ownership. 700.00 for the tractor and deck.

I will possibly part the tractor out in a month or so. No interest in it whole.

I have two 417-A parts tractors. One of each year of production. ‘85 model is almost entirely disassembled. It is missing the ENTIRE engine. Entire, as in air cleaner housing to the engine mounting plate are gone. Also, missing one rear wheel and seat. The ‘86 model is together but the engine while free turning is in need of a rebuild. The seat and some of the engine sheetmetal are missing. The remainder of the parts to the’85 are in the attic of my shed. Pictures can be taken if you need them in order to decide you want them. I would greatly prefer they go together.

I have a nice original condition Wheel Horse 312H tractor.There is no mower on it. Not sure what it is worth maybe several others out there know. I would like to sell it. Acquired it from a storage garage.I would like for it it go to a good home and restore it.It looks like it never sat outside.Would make someone a nice project to restore.It looks like it could run with a carb sht of gas.I'm not going to do any work on it.you are buying it "In as condition" You guys know what these are worth!!.Also probably it would make a good puller tractor.I'm sure these are getting hard to find in this condition. I want to sell this as 1 package.

1. 42" tall chute snowblower. Mechanically sound. Spins free and is quiet. Its not the prettiest snowblower, but it should work for many years to come (it is missing the plastic chain cover and crank holder)

2. 48" mower deck with mule drive Spins free and is quiet, again not the prettiest mower deck but it would be good to fix or use for parts.

3. Front plow. Pretty straight forward. Everything is there. Again, not the prettiest plow but it functions 100%

Selling off my spare rear mount tiller. I picked up this tiller a couple of years back to have as a spare but I will never use it. Some of the tines still have paint on them. It had no rear shield on it when I bought it so I made one out of aluminum . There are a couple of dents on the top from rocks popping up.

Kohler Engine Rebuilding

I will rebuild your K181, K241, K301, K321 and K341 cast iron kohler engine for 295.00 plus parts and machine work if required. In most cases cylinder will be bored, crank will be ground, valve seats ground or reconditioned. New piston, new rings, new rod, valves new or reconditioned, all new seals and gaskets. Entire engine brought back to factory spec. I no longer do performance/pulling engines or twins.
If your old Kohler is knocking or smoking it's most likely time for a rebuild before it locks up on you. Once rebuilt, and properly maintained, it will give you another 30-40 years of service.
I don't cut corners, I take my time and get it right. 40 plus years of working on and rebuilding k series engines. You won't be disappointed.

Swept-Forward Axle/Tire Package

Swept-Forward Axle with 1" spindles, steering shaft and tie-rods, bearings, hubs, wheels and 6 ply tires.

When I was attempting to put a front-end loader on my 416-H, I found it to be a bit unstable in the front. So I contacted the late Jay @roadapples . He advised me to build a front end like this. So I gathered all the parts but never put it on the 416-H. I sold the loader. Offered here today are all the parts that I accumulated to put a swept-forward on the tractor. This is standard steering, no gear-reduction.

So here is what I have:

The 520-H swept forward axle with heavy-duty 1" spindles.

Each end is equipped with new thrust bearings and thrust washers.

There is a little play in the housing.

The lower steering shaft is correct for a swept-forward system.

Here is the shaft and the tie-rods.

Each ball-joint has a new boot, zerk, proper washer/spacer, and castle nut.

Tie-rod

To accommodate heavier tires, heavy-duty hubs and tapered bearings, with grease cap and rear grease seal.

Finish it off with new Loadstar 6 Ply Rated 165 x 65 - 8 tires, running at 70 PSI, Steering will be no problem.

Let me know if you have any questions. I haven't weighed this, but I know it's heavy and would require some stiff postage to deliver. For that reason, I would suggest pick-up. I could arrange to meet at a location within 50 miles of 21776.

I think this came from a 520H with an Onan that threw a valve seat. I replaced the engine with another P220, and this carb was left over. Looks pretty clean.
